Welcome to You Spoke to God

Throughout history, countless men and women have claimed to speak with God, Jesus Christ, angels, saints, or other heavenly beings. Some of these accounts have inspired millions, influenced devotions, and shaped the spiritual lives of believers around the world.

But one important question deserves careful consideration:

How can we know whether a claimed message truly comes from God?

This website was created to encourage thoughtful discernment. It is not intended to ridicule sincere believers or attack individuals. Instead, it invites readers to examine the original sources for themselves and to consider them carefully in the light of Scripture and the historic Christian faith.

Among the topics explored on this website are:

  • reported conversations with God or Jesus Christ;
  • visions and locutions;
  • private revelations;
  • apparitions;
  • prophecies;
  • near-death experiences;
  • devotional writings;
  • and other extraordinary spiritual claims.

Where possible, original quotations and source references will be provided so that readers may examine them in their proper context rather than relying on isolated excerpts or second-hand interpretations.

One section of this website will also examine the Divine Mercy Diary, presenting quotations from the Diary itself. The purpose is not to tell readers what to believe, but to encourage them to read the original text carefully and consider its contents in context.

This website also contains my own testimony. I understand that personal experiences cannot be independently verified in the same way as historical documents. For that reason, I simply present my own account and encourage every reader to exercise discernment.

Truth does not fear examination.

Neither sincere faith nor honest questions should be afraid of careful investigation.

As Scripture reminds us:

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God.”
— 1 John 4:1

A Question for Every Reader

If someone claims to have spoken to God, what standard should we use to discern whether that message is truly from Him?
